Major International Award Win for Access Automation

Access Automation have been recognised internationally by their peers through the international publication Elevator World.  Access Automation took out first place in the Inclined Lift category in the 2013 Project of the Year awards.  The award was for the twin 'Nam Trams' at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Danang City, Vietnam.

We are very proud of this award as we were up against the best inclined elevator companies in the world.  As the award suggests, Access Automation have come out on top and this little company from Lower Hutt, New Zealand is a world leader in their field and definately going places.  Well done!

Access Boys Doing Us Proud Abroad

In April 2012 this large project in Asia was commissioned. This commercial installation for The Da Nang InterContinental Resort consists of twin 140m long inclined elevators. Although side by side, these inclined lifts are independent of each other allowing maximum throughput of guests who will be able to choose from 4 stops along the way. Each passenger car has a payoad of 750kg with a travelling speed of 1.5m/s. They will change gradient three times over their travel whilst remaining perfectly level.

Another engineering feat by Access Automation Ltd. Keep up the great work guys.
